An exceptionally complete and well-pre-served example of a traditional central Eu- ropean village. Holasovice has a large number of outstanding 18 th and 19 th century vernacu-lar buildings in a style known as the "South Bohemian folk Baroque", and preserves a ground plan dating from the Middle Ages.
